Midway Market is opening Summer 2026 in Colbert, WA — and it’s the kind of grocery store North Spokane County has been waiting for.

Here’s everything you need to know before opening day.

When and Where

Location: Village at Midway, Hatch Road & Highway 395, Colbert, WA 99005

Opening: Summer 2026 (exact date to be announced — follow shopmidwaymarket.com for updates)

Size: 18,000 square feet of grocery, dining, and specialty departments

The store is part of the Village at Midway, a mixed-use development that also includes The Ridge at Midway apartments and future retail and commercial spaces.

What’s Inside

Midway Market isn’t a typical grocery store. It’s built around departments that prioritize quality, freshness, and a shopping experience that feels nothing like a big-box chain.

Full-Service Bistro

Fresh-prepared meals for breakfast and lunch. Sandwiches, salads, soups, hot entrees — all made in-house with the same ingredients on the store shelves.

Espresso Bar

Full coffee program with lattes, cappuccinos, drip, and cold brew — made from beans roasted on-site. Grab one on your way in or sit and enjoy it in the bistro area.

On-Site Coffee Roasting

Coffee beans roasted inside the store, every day. Fresh as it gets.

Full-Service Meat Counter

Hand-cut steaks, custom orders, house-made sausages and marinated meats. Staffed by butchers who know what they’re doing.

Full-Service Seafood Counter

Fresh fish and shellfish, sourced with care. Rotating selection based on season and availability.

Artisan Bakery

Fresh bread, pastries, and baked goods made on-site.

Produce

Organic, non-GMO, and conventional options. Curated for quality, not just volume.

Walk-In Beer Cooler & Wine Section

A selection of craft beer, local favorites, and wines — including a walk-in beer cooler.
